Thank you for visiting our website.
“Fumikura” is a body care salon located in Kanazawa Ward.
The first store is located near Hakkeijima and is open as “Hogushidokoro Fumikura” in a pure Japanese-style room in Kanazawaen(National Registered Tangible Cultural Property), which was a designated in of the former Japan Navy.
The second store is located near Kanazawa Bunko Station and is a cottage-like small house called “Relaxation Salon Fumikura”. Both are completely
private salons with parking lot. We will maintain the body of those who are tired all over the body and those who are playing sports. We offer relaxation massage, stretching, reflexology and dry head spa, so please feel free to visit us.
This salon is not for medical massage.
Body Care School
Fumikura also trains therapists as “Body Care School Fumikura”.

The staff is currently studying English conversation, but we are used to seeing English-speaking customers in Yokosuka and other places, so please feel free to come even if you cannot speak Japanese.

You can pay by VISA, MasterCard, or cash. When you come to the store, you will be asked to sign a consent form (in English) when you
first visit the store.
If you are sick or recuperating, please obtain permission from your doctor before making a reservation.
Both salons are small, so there is no space to wait. Also, there is a parking lot for just one car so please arrive the store just on your
reservation time.

More about Kanazawa Ward
It is the southernmost ward of Yokohama City, and a convenient place to come from Haneda Airport by Keikyu train.
The current administrative district is Yokohama City, but it used to be part of Kamakura during Kamakura period. It was a swordsmith’s village where you could come to Kanazawa ward from Kamakura for work in one day. Therefore, there are many temples and shrines of the Kamakura period, and it is a relaxing place blessed with nature.
Those who visit Japan as sightseeing and working holidays as well as living in Japan, you are also welcome to learn my body care method. Of course it is nice to go to beautiful places in Japan, eat delicious food, and enjoy manga (anime), but as I am Japanese, I think you can have deeper experiences of Japan.
